Rajasthan: In a recent announcement, the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) revealed that the General Knowledge paper for the RPSC Senior Grade Teacher Group A and Group B posts will be conducted again. The scheduled re-examination date is 30th July 2023. With the exam just around the corner, candidates are eagerly awaiting their admit cards. This is expected to happen three days before the exam, possibly on 27 July.
This crucial exam is set to fill 9,760 Rajasthan Senior Teacher positions. The response has been overwhelming, with more than 8 lakh candidates applying for the opportunity. However, the exam was canceled earlier due to allegations of rigging.
According to media reports, the exam timings for Rajasthan Senior Teacher Group A will be from 10 am to 12 noon. For Group B, it will be conducted between 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. Candidates are advised to reach the exam center at least one hour before the exam commences to ensure a smooth process.
The need for the re-conduction of the General Knowledge paper arose after an unfortunate incident during the Senior Teacher Recruitment Paper 2022. Around 3 lakh candidates appeared for the General Knowledge paper on December 22, and approximately four lakh candidates took the examination on December 21. However, following a tip-off, the Udaipur police intercepted a bus carrying 49 candidates who solved a leaked GEEK paper. As a result, the exam was canceled, and now, it is being conducted again to maintain fairness and integrity in the recruitment process.
As the exam date approaches, candidates are urged to stay vigilant and check the official RPSC website (rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in) for the latest updates and admit cards. This re-conduction provides an opportunity for all aspiring candidates to demonstrate their knowledge and secure their place in the recruitment process.
