Ruturaj Gaikwad Is Excited To Lead Team India: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced both the men’s and women’s teams on 14 July for the cricket event in the Asian Games 2023. The 15-member Indian men’s team will be captained by young player Ruturaj Gaikwad in the Asian Games. This decision of BCCI surprised everyone, but keeping the future in mind, the decision is also being seen. Now Ruturaj has expressed his happiness for the first time after getting the responsibility of captaincy.
In the video of Ruturaj Gaikwad released by BCCI, he said that his dream is to win the gold medal for the country and stand on the podium to sing the national anthem. in India ODI World Cup BCCI has decided to send an entire youth team to the Asian Games due to the start of 5th October.
After becoming the captain, Ruturaj Gaikwad said that I want to thank the BCCI, the team management and the selectors who entrusted me with this responsibility. It is always a pride to play for India and it is a big deal for me to lead the team in this big event. All of us young players in this team will have a very good chance to prove themselves.
After not being selected in the T20 series against West Indies, now Rinku Singh has been included in the Indian team announced for the Asian Games. Apart from this, many such names are also included in the team, who have been performing consistently for the last few IPL seasons. Apart from Arshdeep Singh, the team has Avesh Khan, Mukesh Kumar and Shivam Mavi in fast bowling.
