While the initial release will be confined to the domestic market, anticipation is building for its debut on August 14th. This innovative smartphone is set to succeed the Mix Fold 2 and Mi Mix Fold, introduced by the company in 2021 and 2020 respectively. Xiaomi’s founder and CEO, Lei Jun, took to the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo to break the news of the upcoming phone launch.
Lei Jun also shared a captivating marketing poster that bears the tagline, “Defining a new standard for the second half of the folding screen.” The unveiling event is scheduled for 7:00 PM local time (4:30 PM Indian time) and will feature Lei Jun’s annual address.
Key Features of Xiaomi Mix Fold 3:
The Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is set to flaunt a sizable square-shaped camera module accompanied by an LED flashlight. Both screens are poised to support a 120Hz refresh rate. The device is expected to house an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, with potential configurations reaching up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.
